Fantastic photos all around!! It really cheered up my evening here in Khartoum. We arrived three days ago from Manila and the landing is being kind of difficult. Beginnings in new countries are always challenging, finding a house, car, moving around, finding places, friends, adjusting to the new job... and in a place like Khartoum the challenge gets bigger. Dust everywhere, blazing sun, chaotic city... the fact that have been previously in Africa and Arab countries help, but then little Alma has been sick since our arrival. Fever, soar throat, not eating... and that´s the difficult part. Anyway!
as said watching all these fantastic shots helps keeping in touch with what is familiar: this great group of photographers. As per myself nothing to add, my equipment is at customs, I will try to reclaim it tomorrow but I have heard all kind of nightmares about it... As per shooting I have taken some shots indoors. Here in Sudan if you want to shoot you need an authorization from ministry of tourism and they are kind of strict with it, specially when you photograph the wrong places, like bridges, airports, official buildings... Ja, ja, I am afraid I sounded too gloomy. I am sure little Alma will get better, we´ll find a great place and shooting will happen sooner than expected
This weekend I specially like Sapata´s rolleicord, what a magnificent camera!!!
Ann´s first beach shot full of energy
And first class Peter shots, specially the third one from the top
