AGFA Xray Film

Years back when i was at uni, was rummiging through a dumpster...(yeah they threw out allot of cool stuff, im not a hobo) found a box of old agfa xray sheet film. about 25 sheets all sealed, but the stuff was old, probably from the 70s..

Today...i said to myself, i have a brownie...my darkroom is clean(it was a mess) im gona experiment. I cut up a few sheets of this film in the dark and fited them into the brownie, here is 1 of 3 shots that made it. i did a contact print a few minutes ago! awesome!

I present "my filthy kitchen.." its the next thing i need to clean!

X-ray film is actually what the guys with big handmade cameras use. It's available in huge sizes so no cutting is necessary for them.

Considering most hospital XRay machines use digital imaging these days, i bet there is a huge cache of this stuff all around the world.
If anyones interested in the Dev process:
-Exposed the film for 3 minutes in my kitchen using the ceiling fluro for light
-Developed in  ID-11 for 7min @20c + 3 drops of Defoger
-Wash
-Fix for 4 minutes
-wash
