I just stumbled onto this wonderful site where they post scans of old magazine pages. And yes, they have a big photography section. It's all old and weird but definitely worth a look.

Well, it probably wasn't...

But the site is full of other stuff, from the how to mount a flashbulb on your head to making a rig to take snaps of a squirrel using a mouse trap as the camera trigger...
