just picked this up from elsewhere on the interwebs:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KODAK-HIE-AEROGRAPHIC-INFRA-RED-FILM-120-FORMAT-/120717509935?pt=UK_Photography_Film&hash=item1c1b53052f#ht_499wt_1159

I think this is the aero film that david romano used to cut and spool from large master rolls. It is apparently the same as HIE, but in a larger size - HIE was never available in anything other than 135 rolls.  AFAIK, there is none left anymore.  I suspect these rolls of film will make a tidy packet for the seller. Will be interesting to see.

I'm not overly keen on IR films, but HIE did have something a bit special about it. It even smelled nice.

I still have 6 rolls of David Romano film and the labels look different than these, and they say www.davidromano.com on the lable.

Interesting - I wasn't aware that anyone else was respooling. I wonder where these are from then ...
