what's the matter developer-chan?
« on: March 19, 2011, 11:13:34 PM »
as said in the weekend thread; today I had my first session with my tetenal c-41 kit!
I think I managed to do six rolls, but I've only scanned one so far. and it's a bit strange.. sure, it's expired agfa vista so I wasn't expecting anything top notch ;) but there's some areas that are extra green and some purple. I thought I'd post here to see if any of you guys can spot any beginners mistake I may have done.

(oh, and I've got them negs under a few books now so no mention needed about those newton rings. trying to fix that now, hehe ;D)

could be temperature differences, inadequate agitation, poorly mixed chemicals, you name it. looks slightly underdeveloped as well... or maybe the chemicals weren't hot enough?

though the banding suggests coverage, agitation issues.

now that I think about it, there was one film that had climbed up the centrer rod in the developer tank.
I'll scan some more now and see if they're better. edit: I'll scan some more - later. time for drinks~ :D
