It's really astounding that he bought such an expensive camera and did not know it shot film.

Man, some are really beyond.

(I hope for the sake of that guy that it's a joke...)

I think that he's trolling but I still laughed!

Then again, at a family reunion a few months ago my mom saw my new Zeiss Ikon (ZM) and asked about it. I told her that it's a very nice film camera. She asked me why did I buy it. She can't find film even in most photo shops (true) and also asked if these new generation film cameras can also take memory cards. "I don't know son, technology has advanced a lot". She's on to a money idea, though!

I think it may be genuine. Yesterday a student came into my office where I have an upright Moviola film editor and stood looking at it. Then she said, "What software does this use?"

one of my girlfriend's kids picked up my polaroid 190, looked at the back, asked how to see the pictures. but she is six!

I just like the fact it uses a "cartridge of tape"...
I don't know if he means packing tape or duct tape

A friend sold a Blackbird Fly to a customer, and the new user complained after two rolls of film, there was no photographs to be seen. She was taking the photographs, and every time she opened the back to see the photograph on the film - there was nothing there!

Obviously a faulty camera that needed returning...

Well, maybe you can get as an "open box" from the same place... unless the disgruntled buyer tried it with Scotch tape first

That would bring a true meaning to the words "sticky shutter"
