For those of you here who frequented the old Foodwasters website, well guess what? We're back. I missed not being able to talk to my photo buddies about food and drink, so Leon and I have cobbled together a fairly lightweight website wrapped round a forum for anyone who wants to join in.

Due to already having been plagued by the spam monkeys from hell we have decided to approve all requests to join the forum, so don't despair if it takes a few hours for your approval to come through. We're both UK-based and so might conceivably both be asleep when your request comes through.

go to foodwasters.com and sign up there.

Looks like even if you were signed up on the old forum, you need to re-up.

I managed to sign in straight away via twitter. I'm going to get into cooking & baking more this year  8)

I got one of those halogen ovens for Christmas, so far it roasts a whole chicken in half the time my big oven takes. Apparently it's very economical. I'm going to try and bake some bread in it. Maybe a sourdough.

Yeah, I'm surprised that more people haven't used the sign in from Twitter, GoogleID or OpenID. I could have set up the sign in from facebook feature, but I don't have a Facebook account anymore so I wasn't able to set up the authentication stuff.
