The funny photographs of René Maltête

For once, I think I have something from a decent photographer to bring to the forum.
His name is René Maltête, a Frenchman who really had a sense of humor in his images. Especially funny since the literal translation of his last name would be "headache" :)

Stunning. 10% of them didn't work for me, but the rest...wow! Lots of clever work in there and I laughed out loud several times. It puts me in mind of Matt Stuart (currently working here in London town).  "Fugue" is probably my favourite, but there are lots of other wonderful moments.

10 out of 10, Francois. Go to the top of the class.

Mostly hilarious but never less than entertaining. I suspect "Maltete" might a "nom-de-plume".....??

excellent stuff - and I've got that self-same "ATTENTION CHIEN MECHANT" sign at home.

Francois - doesn't that literally mean "Attention - Naughty Dog"? Naughty is such a hilarious alternative to dangerous/ agressive.  I love literal translations.

Actually, the sign translates more closely to Warning: Mean Dog
Something which I have a hard time believing in when I saw the picture :)

Wonderful stuff! Talk about the decisive moment. Man, this guy knew how to capture it, thats for sure. My favorite image so far is the man with one leg and the crutch standing next to a building with a crutch. Amazing!
