Holiday Road trip

One of my wishes for the holidays was to go on a two week road trip to Moab, Utah.

It came true!  Here are a couple of pix from the adventure.
Taken with Ansco Pix Panorama camera and some expired rolls of Fuji 200 I bought at the thrift store in Moab.

Seems like a slight blue shift there that really suits that landscape.  Love the way it renders the sky.  Great use of the panoramic frame, like it was designed for just this...

Wow! These are fantastic!!! I have to get a panoramic film camera soon! And I just love that cheap Fuji color film.

Thanks all!  it does look a bit on the blue side.  These are quickie scans so I didn't adjust for the blues.

Mojave- the Ansco pix does remarkably well for a cheapie pano cam, and it's easy to just keep tucked in a pocket.    :)

I love the way this looks, though, just the way it is.  Maybe a bit fantastical and surreal but GREAT!

I am all propped up now with so large a head I'll hardly fit in my house  ;D

I have a few more to post later, but will probably just add to the weekend thread whenever it pops up again.

Seriously though, a very humble thanks to all!  

It's hard to hang around this forum and all this talent and not have a smidge rub off from time to time.

....how could that combo ever fail? Gorgeous.

Damn! After looking at these gorgeous photos, I so badly want to get back to the South West. And for the record the Ansco Pix Pano somehow manages to be utterly awesome. The results are uniformly standout. I have owned a few over the years (my fave being one I found for $1 in a thrift store in Hawaii...yeah, it couldn't have been a more perfect moment). I give them to friends if I ever have any spare. The same camera was branded differently in Europe. Memory fails me, but anyway, thanks for posting these, Becky.
