Any rules or guidelines for the posting photographs on the weekend thread?

Well... it should be taken during the weekend...
That's about it.

Thanks, kind of what I thought. I'll have to see if I can actually develop some film on the same weekend I shot it.  :o

I think the interpretation can be a little broader. In my view it reflects what 'photographic activity' you've undertaken that weekend, whether it be films developed, scanned etc.

Well, I hope it is broader or I will have to take everything down! I have always interpreted it as recent activity, whatever that might be. Us showing each other what we are up to now, photographically.

Perhaps  clarification before I make a further ass of myself :-[  ???

Merely my excuse to post the week's work. Generally on the weekend. No rules really. Enjoy! Skj.

i think the only real reals are film only (no digital) and image size. it's just something that happens, otherwise!

I don't shoot that regularly, so for me it's just my recent work, unless that is something that warrants a separate thread.

I often think that some exceptional pics can get lost in the weekend threads. The work is always of such a high standard. I think it's nice to start individual threads too occasionally - say if you are posting a group or series of pics.

Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster's noodly appendage for that (I've decided to become a Pastafarian, at least for now).

I'd sort of interpreted it in much the same way as Leon insofar as I don't always get to shoot during the week and, even if I do, it's not always possible for me to have the film processed or scanned every week.

Anything that I think might be of interest as a "theme" I've set up as a separate thread.

Profuse apologies if I've been screwing up the board up to now.... :-[

Like Leon and Phil, the images that I've posted to the weekend thread have generally been stuff I've processed that weekend.  They could easily have been taken at any time during the previous few months as I only have a part time darkroom and tend to only set it up when I've got around 8-10 films to develop.

For what it's worth, Skorj started the weekend threads off a couple of years ago so I'd go with what he says.
