My First Stab at Pinhole
« on: August 31, 2010, 08:10:27 PM »

So ... Same Zenit EM, but with a bodycap screwed in place of the lens, on Ilford Delta 400.  The Outside shot was the end of the film, 45 secs open and the Princess and Tintin in my kitchen were 4 mins, then framed with Gimp after scanning.

It might be what the Zenit gets used for now.

I like second one a lot, Miles...but no mention of the noble Coronet Marl II 4-4 in the background? Shape up, man!!

 :)

Pinholes are fun though aren't they?

I just knew you'd sniff out Britain's finest.  I'd loaded it with 35mm and got mixed results.  However, I now the have bigger version, the 6-6 loaded with FP4 120 and a ropey one from Peter on FW to use for pinhole so that's cool.

Have got some rolls wtg to be developed from my hols in Provence, some of them are Pinholes too, in the Zenit EM I am actually quite excited.  :)

Work really gets in the way ...

Not that I'd cross post but ... Baz on expired 35mm Trueprint converted to mono and the colour was all over the place.  From the Coronet 4-4.

Love the shots! Im so afraid of trying pin holes. I dont know why. I made some cool shots in high school right onto paper and it was a lot of fun but for some reason Im afraid to try them right now. Im a big chicken.  :-[

Thanks, they are some of the most willing models I have access to, (the dog hates cameras).

Mojave - I know what you mean, the lack of control and leap in the dark is a bit odd.  I intend to push on though  :)

I am such a trooper  ;)
