Topic: infrared.....faking it

Decided to try some Ilford SFX in the Mamiya 6 with the R72 filter to see what kind of infrared effect I would get since it is a "pseudo" infrared film.

Here are two shots, each around 8 seconds long at F/16.

The horses were just fed so not moving too much for the 8 second exposure.

Nice!

The second in particular, the grass and the bush to the left
are very convincing.

Nice dark skies too.

I have some of this film now in 135 and 120 so just waiting
for the clouds to move away here on the west coast of
Ireland.

I have one 35mm I bought about 8 years ago and never got a chance to use it. I didn't know the film is not considered infrared but I'm sure 7dayshop sold me as one !

It is filtered Phil.

I used an R72, since that's the only one I have for IR.  

Yes, Leon I will pass the message along!    Although she is getting along quite well here in the sunny southwest!
