Ag photographic
« on: July 22, 2010, 09:05:34 PM »
After the podcast I popped into Ag in Brum this afternoon.

It's like a bloody Aladdin's Cave!

Went in for a bottle of fixer.

Came out with two fixer, one HC-110, two Pan F 120, three 127 and an Adox 25 120

Oooops!  :D

Now you know how I feel when I enter my favorite camera shop :)
Go in for 2 packs of Instax, come out with over 100$ of stuff...

Very interesting podcast.

It is great to hear Matt being so positive about traditional film and looking to grow the market.

I too remember the Jessops paper price list and pouring over it to see what was available.

Matt's premises are interesting.  I found them reminiscent of the phototec group shop in Birmingham many years ago.

I used to take the day off work and travel by train to pick materials up.  I still have the lighting stands somewhere that I bought from them.  It certainly was fun carrying them back on the train.

I recently bought some Foma 4x5 from them, very good service and reasonable prices.
