great stuff in the posts as usual, some of which reminding me to dig out that holga and try experiment a bit

now, trying to be and keep simple and not being that sophisticated and conceptual type and being Easter that family thing, I decided to coerce some family members to sit for some jolly easter diptych snaps and show me some happiness

Film / filmwasters newb here. The attached photo was taken on Easter weekend from a hotel room in San Francisco. Shamefully, I must admit it's not even real B+W: it's Kodak BW400CN.

Thanks for the welcome, astrobeck. SF is not my home city, though at times I wish it was. I live about a 3 1/2 drive south of there in Hanford, a smallish town in the middle of dairies and farmland.

On a whim, I recently bid on several 35mm SLR film bodies and won two (oops). So now I am taking lots of crappy photos, but having the time of my life doing it.

Now if I can figure out how to get the cost of developing, printing, and scanning down I'd be very happy. Otherwise, the missus will keep giving me "that look" -->

Thanks Diane! i got mine for christmas and managed to clean out the HUGE viewfinder, its a great looking bit of design. liking your double exposure pic, and particularily the ferris wheel one!
