Sigma lens Super-Wide II 24mm
« on: March 09, 2010, 05:05:59 AM »
Just acquired a Sigma Super-wide II 24mm lens for my Pentax K1000 and was wondering if anyone has one or an opinion of it.

Going to take it for a test drive this weekend, but was curious if it had a sweet spot.
We don't talk much about lenses here do we?   ???

thanks always!    :)

I've never used one but I know Sigma has always been known for good lenses...
Could you post a picture of the "chunk of glass" so we can all drool over our keyboards :)

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Anything wide gets a vote in my book! The Sigma are supposed to be good - a few comment on two of their supposed extra nice attributes too - a slight vignette sometimes, and an occasional color-shift compared to OEM lenses. Both excellent benefits I think! Results please! Skj.

thanks guys!
I'm taking it for a spin this weekend so hope to have some good stuff to share for one of the weekend collabs.

My K1000 is very excited to be wearing it!
