Pentax Problem
« on: March 05, 2010, 03:35:59 PM »
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone could identify what it going on with my Pentax Spotmatic F?
Out of the last 2 rolls I  received back from it at least 5 or 6 in the pack looked like this, with half  of the frame being completely black.
Any ideas what might be wrong here?

Any idea's would be muchly appreciated!

It's 'capping'. Which is when the second curtain catches up with the first one before the end of the exposure. It'll only be noticeable with faster shutter speeds. A service would sort it out.
