PJ Harvey comes up on shuffle so I decide to look for vids of her on youtube because I'm a big fan and PJ Harvey remains for me the one "celebrity" that I would like to... like, you know... more than anyone and I kinda needed to see her.
So I like her old B&W vids, like Man-Size and Dress. I love the song Dress, one of my favorites. So I click on it and, damn. I'm seeing real similarities between it and the photo series I just did (click first sig). Maybe it's the sparkly stockings -- which are the model's and was her idea to wear, so that suggests coincidence -- but the whole theme a bit, too, and the visual style.
Have you discovered that you unconsciously were inspired by something, unawares until later?
