I hope to go shooting tomorrow with a new camera.  Today I converted some negatives that I just scanned in from a recent prowl a few weekends ago.

this one from yesterday... found some ants that were busy hauling off a spider corpse, so I carefully  put them on a paper plate under my chunky desk loupe and took a few shots then set them back on their way.
I shot a whole roll to get about three usable shots!
Holga shot through a desk loupe.

I have been running rolls of Tri-x through a newly acquired Kodak Brownie Hawkeye.  These scanned negatives are of one of my favorite subjects, an anthropomorphic erratic rock in Lincoln Woods, Rhode Island.  I like the shape, the vantage point and, especially, the patience of the subject.

Been away for 3 weeks to the US to visit my parents and sister and do sightseeing as previously the husband and I had gone in the winter when everything is closed in New Hampshire so nothing to see or do   ::)
We saw an elephant up close and got to touch it

http://www.flickr.com/photos/fishies_go_pook/3627596471/

and we saw the Bean in the Chicago

http://www.flickr.com/photos/fishies_go_pook/3627596945/
(both the above taken with Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim)

There were other things too but I haven't gotten the films developed yet. Oh yeah and pardon the digi pic but my uncle came to visit (uh because my dad had to randomly get a quadruple bypass the first week we were visiting, ahem) and a year or two ago he gave me a rather lovely yashica-a in perfect condition and he had promised me "a folder camera" if I wrote him a thank you. Well, all my christmas cards were made up from a picture I took using said yashica-a camera so I scribbled a thankyou along with the christmas greeting on it. So this is my prize...

Yeah that's not exactly the kind of "folder" I was thinking of when he said that. It's a 2x3 Century Graphic and it has more movements than my 4x5 top handle speed graphic. Came with a 120 (6x9) roll film back too and will still happily do macro and has a groundglass back too. I think my uncle was equally pleased to see it being used.

quality stuff as usual in these weekend threads.

Been playing with a Polaroid 1000 from my wife's childhood. found some 780 film in a shop while in Istanbul.
Below a "bathroom still life", one of the only 2 shots that didn't come out too overexposed or with movement blur

Well that looks like a whole lot of fun, I have acquired a 120 stainless steel tank and spiral from that auction site place, so hopefully will be able to stick some stuff up soon.

cheers for all the inspiration.

I've been taking more space than usual on this forum these last few days.  This, in part, because I don't think that I'll be able to post much here while spending the next five weeks in Portugal. I should, however, have plenty of opportunity to use a camera there and, of course, will enjoy seeing everyone's work.

Today, I brought a Kodak Pony 135 'Roundup' and a roll of Kodak Gold 200 with me while walking my beagles on the Blackstone Canal Bicycle Path in Quinville, Rhode Island.  The first picture is of the Ashton Mill--recently converted into apartments.  The second, is milkweed in bloom along the canal.  In the third, I had my beagles pose on a bench and just as I was to fire the shutter the old dog fell through the back of the bench.  Unfazed, she held the pose as best she could--extra biscuit rations for both.

A lovely lot. I particularly like the DOF on yours ottok!
I haven't been shooting so much as developing some old stuff.

I am 4 films away from being totally up to date - for the first time since I took up photography properly 6 years ago!
Wahooo!

Anyway, here are a few I developed from a charity thing my family run:

Indeed they do. I managed to shoot a pack of my last F3000B with the muse. I am out of sync...
