I've been taking more space than usual on this forum these last few days. This, in part, because I don't think that I'll be able to post much here while spending the next five weeks in Portugal. I should, however, have plenty of opportunity to use a camera there and, of course, will enjoy seeing everyone's work.
Today, I brought a Kodak Pony 135 'Roundup' and a roll of Kodak Gold 200 with me while walking my beagles on the Blackstone Canal Bicycle Path in Quinville, Rhode Island. The first picture is of the Ashton Mill--recently converted into apartments. The second, is milkweed in bloom along the canal. In the third, I had my beagles pose on a bench and just as I was to fire the shutter the old dog fell through the back of the bench. Unfazed, she held the pose as best she could--extra biscuit rations for both.
