It was a jolly holiday (Pan F+)
« on: October 22, 2008, 11:09:49 PM »
Och aye,

Attached are a couple of holiday snaps from September in Loch Fynne.

The first snap - the building shape was meant to copy the mountain shape.  Does it work?

Just processed another film (woah!) Pan F+ in FX-39

Comments/criticism more than appreciated.

Will scan more when eyes are more open!

Initially I liked the last one best, but now I've had a fiddle, I'm liking the first one best - definitely works for me.

I'm still thinking you need a bit more detail in the shadows. Maybe the scanner exposure again?

I had a fiddle to see what I could get out of the shadows but I think it needs more. Also sharpened them a bit and a few burns. Hope you don't mind.

I liked the first two, I imagine they will  both print well when you get around to it.  They both have nice details and that Boat house has lovely texture.
