Bill the Barber

Cooo-eeey everyone,

Just collected some processed Neopan 400CN films and here are a couple of shots taken in the (fleeting) summer.

First is of a barber's with neon johnny sign in the window  ;D  (duotoned in PS)

Second is the poster board in a cafe in town, notice the poster in top right  :) (handheld at about 1/30 s if I recall)

For some reason I'm always drawn to barbers' shops as a photographic subject too. God knows why seeing as how I have been bald since I was 21 (so, for 6 years then...cough!).

If one had a neon Durex sign in the window that would add to the cachet no end. You should have got closer.

i'm digging both of these. there's something fascinating about flyers.  i think barber shops are like laundrymats - hard to resist taking a shot of.
