Topic: Can finally scan... didn't come out too bad either!

I finally go a scanner / neg scanner (Epson V500.)

Now I can 'archive,' change my 'work flow' and go 'hybrid' etc etc etc
OK, so really I just want to be able to see some pics without having to wait for my Sunday darkroom sesh!

The darkroom still wins for me but I am quite pleased with the first few scan efforts - even if haven't yet sussed all the pro modes.

1 - Policeman praying in Lincoln Cathedral in 2006
2 - Workmen near where I live at about midnight
(They looked worried but it was the lighting I was into, not them!)

Have been playing about with the scanage a bit more, scanning some of my negs from a recent trip to Marrakech - I did have a little moan about the grain showing up, blaming pixels and the like. Then I realised it could be that I shot low light on fast film... durr!

Very nice. 

Have you tried playing around with the contrast?  A wallop of levels might change the image (maybe for the worse?)
