Rugby
« on: May 04, 2008, 10:16:22 PM »
Tried my hand at some Rugby shots last night for the first and only time, with some dreadful results, I am now retired from sports photography after a very short career.  I only got two action shots ftom two rolls of 35mm and this one I think is worth sharing , note the grip of the second guy in from the right.

nothing wrong with this shot Eddie, nicely done, well ... the action of the player you pointed out is very wrong, but that's a different matter entirely - that's gotta hurt, ouch.  I suppose it explains the old adage of Rugby being a game played by men with odd-shaped balls though.

I like this shot, too. Rugby is not an easy sport to shoot. At least, that's my feeling.  Although it is  fairly new to me.
You can't give up, that quickly!
