make sure it doesn't have 45 at the end of the name, which is larger. just fp100b, fp100c and fp3000b.

no type 88 is square format. you need one of the folding cameras (like a 100) or a hardcase (like a supershooter) that takes the type 100 films (669, 667, etc.). the super colour swinger III takes both formats.

..and while we're at it, welcome to the wonderful world of the various Polaroid camera systems and film types. Spend some time on that Land List site; what would we do without it. You'll soon know your 669 from your 125i and your 545 from your girldfriend (don't get those last two confused!!). Then, after you've learned all that you have to stay behind after school to work out which Fuji products are compatible with which Roids and which Pola film they are most like.

I know what you mean... I have been "collecting" Polaroids for quite some time but never found the change to get some film... :(

well, I just managed to get a supercolour swinger for ?2.50, I only decided to make this considerable investment as the owner was throwing a pack of 88 film in with it. now I have 10 shots to whet my appetite for instant fun.

If you're looking for something cheap, look for an old Colorpack II.
I got mine for 1$ at a garage sale. It works with both 3000 ISO B&W and 75 ISO color.

Colorpacks are great.  I have two Colorpack IIIs.  I love the goofy little "rangefinder" device.  It actually works (more or less).

I also just picked up a Big Swinger for $1.  It only takes Type 667 (ISO 3000) film, but Fuji makes FP-3000, so it may keep clicking for awhile.  It has a crappy meniscus lens, so the pix aren't as "refined" as the Colorpack productions.
