Hello everyone

Hi everyone, I'm Stu... new to the forum but have been wasting film for about 4 years!
Don't do digital photography - as my day job is as an Art Director at a digital advertising agency. Analogue is what it is all about for me, spending Sundays in the darkroom I keep in my Fiancee's Nan's spare room! I don't have room for it at my house but couldn't bear to get rid of it.

I love my Leicas but have recently picked up a Holga... and I can't put it down.

If anyone is interested, I have set up a blog with a few of my pictures on:

Please let me know what you think, good or bad criticism welcome!

holga work is great - but I'm definitely liking your leica shots too - lets see some of those - especially more like this ...



and good to hear you're a darkroom worker too - keeping the faith.  nice one.

I also liked the bear pics, but found them very sad.  I remember seeing a polar bear in a similar concrete enclosure in Stanley Park, Vancouver.  The image of him pacing and swaying out of bordom has stayed with me for 13 years - very sad indeed.

Glad you like. Both Holga and Leicas go everywhere with me so I hope to have some more on my blog soon.

It did make me sad to see the bears like that... I suppose it's lucky I never followed my dream of being a photojournalist, I wouldn't be able to cope with half the things some people see!

Hi Stu - welcome to Filmwasters. I like your eye for composition - it has a quirkiness that is fresh. Try to keep it that way! (It's more difficult than you might think.) And keep enjoying that darkroom.

Some really great stuff you have there. I love the leica stuff and the stark tonality of the mountain landscapes.
