After my father died, I found a case of his slides. They seem to be from 1952-53. Mostly Kodachrome (wonderful gorgeous Kodachrome). I started to embed them here but that got to be a bit too much. You can see them here -- 48 slides selected from nearly 500.

Those are really well done.  Was he stationed in Japan for the occupation?

For the Korean War. His mine sweeper was based out of Sasebo, where he met my mother.

They were very well done indeed, and the Kodachrome is great. Are the other 450 just as good?

It would be interesting to know what camera these were shot with.
