I've been lurking for a while so I thought it was about time I posted an intro to myself.
My real name is Peter Robinson and I took my first photographs when I was about 10 - that was 40 years ago - and have done so more or less continuously since. I'm a dedicated film user though I do all my printing digitally these days having not had a real darkroom for nearly ten years. If anyone reads Mike Johnston's blog they might have seen the film ribbon I came up with. Some thought it a good idea, others didn't but a number of people are using it. If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, look here:

I have a site at
http://www.monopix.co.uk where I have some of my piccies and some other info if anyone is interested.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to some erudite conversations in the future - though I suspect the eruditeness will not be mine. And just to prove the point, I'm about to post a couple of questions I hope some of you more knowledgable people will be able to answer.
And I would just like to add what a great idea the podcasts are. I'm looking forward to more in the future.
