Weekend 14.04 - 16.04 2023
« on: April 15, 2023, 08:53:30 PM »
I tried to get out shooting this week, the forecast was promising and the weather was OK when I set out. Less than half an hour later I was met with rain and heavy gusts of wind. For the coming week they've promised us temperatures up to +15C, so maybe the spring is coming at last.

Not that I want you to be envious but in Montreal we're currently going through a bit of an anomaly weather wise. On Thursday the temperatures went up to +27°C and I took out my shorts for the first time this year, the first time in April in my entire life. We broke a record that has been standing for over 100 years.

I didn't even go out with the camera, I just cleaned-up the swing and soaked-in the warmth  🌞🌞🌞😎😎😎
And lets say that after the rough winter we've had, it felt soooo gooood

Don't worry Francois, I think you deserve all the heat you can get after a bad winter. +27C is just perfect to sit under a tree with a glass of wine. Enjoy it!  :)

Thanks Manuel! I had to dig out my atlas to find Ameland, it belongs to the Netherlands, doesn't it? When you said a small island I thought I might not find it on the map, but this one seems to have an airport. Very nice shot!

I sure do plan on enjoying the last day of good weather (it's supposed to get back to normal tomorrow). No wine for me but just not shivering feels really fantastic 😊
