Free filters, anyone?
« on: January 23, 2021, 09:18:41 PM »
Whenever I buy a new (mostly used) lens, I always order a UV filter to protect the lens. Some times the lens I've purchased has a filter of some sort attached, and over the years I have amassed a number of these filters that I never use. I tried once to sell some of the better ones, but it's not worth the hassle. Some guy would always find a spot that I had not seen and start haggling over the price. I'd rather give them away and (hopefully) avoid any complaints. All are boxed and the plan is just to stick them in a padded envelope and pop them in the post. I cannot guarantee that they are like new, but I have not seen any scratches that would pose a problem. I will clean them up before shipping.
Here are the rules: Send me a PM with a first and second priority choice + name and address. The main rule in one filter for each interested party, then after a week I will see if there are any leftovers to dole out. First comers will get their number one priority if available, if not their number two priority. I hope this will be fair, tell me if there are any objections.  :)
Here is the list, sorted by size.

46mm Leitz Wetzlar 0r Orange filter. NB! The thread pitch on this filter is not standard as of today, it will not fit an ordinary 46mm filter mount.
49mm Hoya UV filter
49mm Contax 1A MC filter
52mm Marumi UV filter
52mm Kenko MC SL-39 UV filter
52mm Soligor 1A filter
52mm Nikon L1Bc filter
52mm B+W MRC Nano clear filter
55mm Kenko Skylight filter
55mm Contax 1A filter
55mm Niko LMC-1 clear filter (it is Niko, not Nikon)

PS. I've made sure there is enough space in my inbox.  ;D

Not sure if you're shipping stateside, but if so, I would like the 55mm skylight filter.
I have a Konica  lens that needs some help.
thank you for your generosity.

I'm wondering how the shipping would work?
I'd be interested in that 52mm B+W MRC Nano clear filter.

No worries, free international shipping included. But no express shipping, just ordinary mail.

That's super neat!
My old 50mm f/1.8 won't believe it (I know the filter is overkill for such an old thing but still)
