Ontario's quarantine lockdown isn't as bad for me as most people think. I've been fortunate to be able to work from home through a lot of it. There's starting to be a mass of anti lockdown dummies here though. People protesting, spreading conspiracy or misinformation and disobeying orders. Numbers are going up even after we've been locked down, granted it's only been 3 days since we've been back to lockdown and it really takes a couple weeks to see the numbers fall.
So far my Father in Law has had it, really bad actually we didn't think he was going to make it. His wife got it from him, my grandfather got it in his nursing home and another distant relative from that home got it and died from it. I didn't know her all that much but shes my father in law's wife's mother.
Actually I zoom called with my cousin from Montreal and she moved to Moncton NB. She says that the RCMP just show up and do random checks on the people there to make sure people aren't gathering. I'm against things getting too "big brother" but some people here really need a wake up call. I'd say that just the general reception to the new way of life we have to deal with for now is a means of stress for me. I see deficiencies everywhere, I have to think less about it. I also moved way away from Toronto to a much smaller town. Less people to shoot, less interesting stuff to see.
I'm keeping positive about everything overall though. This won't last forever.
How about you guys? I know that you had some bad numbers but I think that Quebec overall has been doing better with numbers? I know Ottawa did great with their covid numbers which is why they were so angry about having the province wide lockdown.
