out of date kodak technical pan
« on: January 15, 2008, 01:19:36 PM »
I found some out of date technical pan (2005) in the bottom of my box of photo things and thought I'd give it a go, processed in some old technidol. Mamiya RB67 and 180 lens. Up in Scotland I get 2 to 3 weeks each year when the sun comes in the living room window at about 15 degrees above the horizon and it makes for fun experiments with light and shadow. I'm working on a series of cutlery pieces, as you do...

A lovely film, I only used it once in 35mm.  Even developed in Rodinal the prints
were grain free.  Great for still life as you demonstrate here.

thanks for the nice comments. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement (please bear in mind I hate curly film).

I should probably have taken slightly more care with the processing than I did, but the original print off it even shows quite precise detail of the mount board the fork was resting on!
