WTCD Week-End 2020
« on: October 19, 2020, 10:42:30 PM »
I ventured out this weekend. I must admit that it felt a bit strange... but it was WTCD 2020, so what the heck.
I went to places where normal folks don't go. You just can't catch COVID in the middle of nowhere.

I took out a camera that has been neglected for a long time: a chromed-out Lomography Action Sampler.

Here are the best of the roll... which inherently wasn't as great as I would have liked it to be.

Hi Francois
Good for you for taking part. Really like the tree shots. I was going to get my toy wide angle out for some moody fun distortion, but ended-up working both days over the weekend.

Well, you know, things like that happen. I usually don't participate because that weekend seems to be cursed with a bad weather spell, but this year it was actually nice. For once it didn't rain and we didn't have freezing cold temperatures.

Same problem for me, had to work 14 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday.  I really wanted to do something but just didn't have the time.  I'm also trying to get through a backlog of developing and editing film I have from a few weeks ago.  All work and no playing with my toy cameras.   :(

Funny you should blame the weather in October - that is often the excuse for me missing world pinhole day in April! But in the UK, the weather is usually bad in April and October

Same thing here.
But April is usually more of a 50/50 chance of bad weather while October is usually guaranteed.
Since WTCD came into existence, I think we didn't get more than 5 days of decent weather. It's either freezing cold or soaking wet.
