Stunning perspective on the first one Bryan!

A couple from Vaison-la-Romaine, in the South of France, taken in August. Shot with new-to-me Lomo LC-A 120 and Ektar 100. Dev/scan/invert by the lab, because I didn't know what to expect from Ektar. I will eventually rescan and invert myself.

A few more from the pulp mill in Cosmopolis, Washington.  Leica IIIf with Adox HR-50 developed in beer.

The power plant on the right runs on biomass, hog fuel and pulp liquor.  Hog fuel is wood waste byproduct and pulp liquor is a byproduct of the pulp making process, lignin and other stuff from the process.  15mm Voigtlander Heliar lens.

I wouldn't recommend HP on that front. The ink is laid pretty thin and the registration is so good that feeding the image twice doesn't really do anything.
When you look closely, you can see the individual dots.

I also tried with a laser printer and while you do get a lot of density, there is no gradation of tones per say. So the dithering is quite visible.

These prints look great, Irv. What kind of printer are you using? I have an Epson, which works fine with most types od acetate. I only have to put a white sheet of paper behind the acetate, so the printer knows there is something there to print on.
I can confirm that the printer lays down a lot of ink. I actually ran into trouble with some cheap acetate that didn't have enough capacity to take up the ink.

I have (more appropriately, "had") an all-brass Nirvana cover band, so this is all fascinating to me! 😁

I thought you'd like it.  One thing that I have taken from this is that Curt didn't have a very good upbringing.  Poor mill town going through rough times and not a great family life.  Obviously that greatly influenced his music.

Yeah, most people only know about his rockstar period, but that only lasted 5 years, and he didn't even have a great time then. The rest of his life objectively sucked 😕

I finally got to sort out my salt print problem  ~(bought a different brand out of the supermarket) and it seemed to have worked. Now I just have to refine the process of timing the exposure and sorting out the printer which still will not print on acetate, i may have to buy another one (any reliable suggestions ) then I can make A4 size prints
Glad that you fixed the salt problem. I guess I was right on that one.
I have an old HP printer that doesn't have a transparency setting. So I just set it to matte photo paper and best printing. That's what puts the most ink on the paper.
You can also feed the sheet twice to increase density (sometimes works).

I know that most alt process printers use Epson printers as they have the reputation of laying a ton of ink on the paper. Their ecotank models are probably a good choice since you can refill them with just about anything that comes from China. That Chinese ink is a lot cheaper than the brand name stuff (that's what I use in my 16$ HP from 15 years ago)

Finally some fog! We rarely get any fog here, and when it happens it's usually gone by the time you get the camera loaded with film and get your shoes on. This one lasted for a whole roll of film!

I'm glad you got out into the fog Kai, I love those type of shot very atmospheric.

Plenty of fog in the Pacific Northwest, sometimes it takes until the afternoon to burn off.  Nice shots Kai!  I have a few from the muddy banks of the Wishkah river, more in my photo essay
You get to go to some very interesting places Bryan
