Yes... they dissolved a camera in acetone fumes.
Too bad they didn't let the process go on longer. It took a bit over 24 hours to get this result.

Watching that made my skin feel weird - thanks for posting :o

Did you note the camera? One of a legion of forgettable 35 mm cameras that came out in the 70's and 80's that stir no mans heart. (Or at least my heart) I find these rightfully forgotten abominations by the dozen at second hand shops all the time and see no horror in reducing one to goo.

Someone will post something special about one in a blog, then everyone will need to have it.

I must admit to having no soft spot for that type of camera, so seeing it turned to gloop was actually mildly cathartic.... :D

Very good. I too wish it had gone on a bit longer. Also, a quick search reveals that dissolving things in acetone is quite the activity on YouTube. That is no surprise.
8) ;D ;D

One thing's for sure, it's definitely more spectacular than crushing things with an hydraulic press or destroying them with a shotgun....

Disappointed. Thought this would be about filmstock used for horror films :D

I wonder what Ed Wood used ;)
