Hello all. I have a question about sharing these essays with the world. I have shared 2 from my photography blog already but I am new blogging about other photogs and their work and so I am not quite sure if I should have done what I did. I dont want to cross any lines.
So, is it ok to blog about these photo essays on my photoblog? I have the links posted and who the essayist is so all the credit goes to the essayist and Filmwasters. Should I ask first before I blog it? And speaking of that, if Soap and Skorj want to me to remove the blog posts I already did for their essays, please say the word and I will apologize now for my mess up. ;D

You just need to scroll down a little bit to find the essay links.
I get pretty good traffic to my blog through wordpress SEO optimization so people are seeing it.
Again, sorry if I messed up by posting the links without asking. Let me know if its ok to continue posting links. I would like to post HS's next if that's ok. And let me know if I should remove the posts I already made.

If your blogging directly as you are here, I would say that's part of the viral intent of the person posting. If you're blogging from internet sources that aren't intended for broadcasting in this or similar manners, asking permission is a kosher behavior ;-)
Let's face it, analogue photography costs, just living our lives costs. Photogs & Artists should get paid for their work unless they explicitly indicate free use (w/credits) is acceptable.
