Hi guys,
I know some of you live in Japan or have a deep knowledge of Japanese Art and Culture, so I want to ask you about some literature on Japanese photography?
After a quick research I found these four promising titles:- Photography in Japan 1853-1912 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Photography-Japan-1853-1912-Terry-Bennett/dp/0804836337/), by Tony Bennett
- The History of Japanese Photography (Museum of Fine Arts, Houston) (https://www.amazon.de/History-Japanese-Photography-Anne-Tucker/dp/0890901120), by Anne Wilkes Tucker
- Ravens & Red Lipstick: Japanese Photography Since 1945 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ravens-Red-Lipstick-Japanese-Photography/dp/0500292876/), by Lena Fritsch
- The Gaze of Things. Japanese Photography in the Context of Provoke (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Things-Japanese-Photography-Context-Provoke/dp/8417048863/)
Does anybody know these books, or can suggest some other titles?
I'm both interested in reading about the history and theory behind the Japanese photo history as much as having a pile of Japanese photographs to watch at.
Thx in advance!

Thank you for this!
"The Gaze of Things. Japanese Photography in the Context of Provoke"
a much wiser purchase than my planned buy of yet another 1950s rangefinder (Aires 35-III L). I really have enough cameras...
