Who's Kirk?
;D
-
In Scotland the word kirk is the same as church, and there is indeed one at the back of the picture. It's an old Norse word, the Norwegian word for church is kirke.

Loving those pinholes :D
A couple more from my 99¢ Pizza series, with enough pics now to post on the Photo Essays page

I picked up this Kodak Duaflex IV a few weeks ago, normally I would have ignored it but it had film loaded in it. I figured for $3 I would at lease get a few 620 spools out of the deal and maybe something interested on the film. There were a few frames left so the photo below is what I shot. The pictures that were on the roll were all photos of a pickup truck. I'm assuming that the film was from the 1970's based on the vintage of the truck. The film is an unknown color print film that was left in the camera, I developed it as black and white using Rodinal 1:50.

Makes more sense now 'cause I just couldn't figure out who Kirk Lane was and why he was in jail or something...

I've been listening to Asian Dub Foundation's "Free Satpal Ram" a lot lately (there are a lot of remixes ;) ) so your original post made me laugh out loud ;D

It had been a few months since I last used my Konica C35, so I dusted it off and loaded up a roll of Fujicolor 200. The camera's showing its age a bit, but still produces great results.

Konica C35s are fantastic, especially the EF series.
Great shots everyone. I have three diptychs to contribute. They're from a photowalk challenge that we called "Circle & Rectangle". Shot with my Zenza Bronica SQ-A on Fomapan 400, dev'ed in Caffenol-C-H (RS).

Grit - that's a great shot of Mission HS. The 1920s were a golden age for California high school architecture and it seems a miracle that so many of these schools still exist. Fullerton Union HS, which my daughters attended, has a similar history to Mission - original campus destroyed by fire, then rebuilt in mission style.

A couple more from Route 66. Nikon FE + Fuji Velvia 100f converted to mono. I don't recall posting these previously so apologies if I have.

Thanks! Mission HS just finished a huge renovation project. It's nice to photograph the building without scaffolding. I really like Mission Revival architecture; maybe it's my Californian pride showing. We used to go on field trips to visit all the missions when I was a kid.

On a walk in the Yorkshire Dales this week I took a few shots on the theme of "midstream branches". OM2n and FP4+.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
2 pinholes from last week, taken with the Zero Image 2000 and Kodak Tmax400 pushed to 1600. Tried out some handheld pinhole photography at around 1/4 sec shutter speed. I am quite happy with the results.

from earlier this year
Olive San 35mm camera with Delta 100 sloshed in caffenol.
The Olive San is a clone of the Vivitar Wide and Slim that I bought a few years ago before the supply and price went crazy....

a rare contribution! Recent week away in Devon. On a side note - AG Photo Labs now trf scanned files to you for a small fee and the turnaround is amazing. Posted Monday, files received today!

So many great pictures here this weekend. And some of the original faces too ;)
Highlights for me: Christian's circles and rectangles, Kevin's branches, Becky's stars and stripes, and Peter's 99cent pizza places.
Can't wait to see what this coming weekend brings .....
