Happy birthday Peter! And nice attempt to unseat me as most-photographed Filmwaster, but I'm afraid the numbers just don't add up and I still hold the title ;)

 That's a damn nice jacket I'm wearing  :o

Cool portraits, chaps! And happy birthday to you, Peter, with lots of blessings! :)

Here's another Caffenol fix to demonstrate that Rollei Retro 80S and Caffenol-C-H (RS) also work really well together (development time is 12m30s). All shots taken with Canon F-1 and various lenses. The "Tree with ladder" shot was taken with a red filter.

Very nice start! These two were shot on CineStill 800T shot at 400, with the Bronica SQ-Ai.

Hey Miguel, nice shots! Was the first done in fading daylight? Without a filter?

I've been reading and looking at sample shots of 800T in mixed light situations (indoor daytime with room lights; outdoor late day / early evening) and the colors look really nice. It seems the film works better in these situations shot at 400 or 500. What are your thoughts?

Was about to say the same about the jacket.... Definitely not H&M style.

Hi all, great start to the weekend!

Four from me this week.  Last night I saw my images projected uncomfortably large on stage. I hung out (hid) in the orchestra pit mostly, with my Ikon and some Tri-X. Six months of following this trio around with my camera has been a rewarding filmwasting experience for sure. You might recognize a few of the projected images from past weekend threads.

I think Cinestill 800 is great. If it wasn't so pricey, I'd buy it more often. I want to try the Cinestill 50, as the colors are amazing and very cinematic... Maybe this summer. For what I've read, they recommend shooting Cinestill 800 at 400-500 during daylight, whereas for low-light and mixed artificial light, 800 to 3200 is recommended. According to the website, you could shoot it at 800 to 3200 without any adjustment on developing time.

The first shot was walking with Satish after brunch, around 2 pm, and the second one on the way to the bus station since it was the last shot of the roll.

Overall, very satisfied with it. I'll try shooting it at 800/1600 at night once it gets a bit warmer, with a tripod and all.

				 Cool, Jeff!

Thanks Peter, I appreciate it. Being involved with a team of artists with a deadline was a real joy and I'd do it all over again.

There is a Bladerunner vibe you're getting with this film that is really cool. I don't think I could describe what's happening, but I sure like it.

Happy birthday to you Peter, nice portraits there! Seems there are quite a few of us that are born in March.

Two of my grandchildren celebrate their birthdays in March as well; it's a good month.

A shot of one of my granddaughter's classmates, taken at her birthday celebration, on Delta 3200. This is the first time I've used anything faster than ISO 400. Back in the day, if I needed to shoot in low light, I'd use Tri-X rated at 1600, in Acufine, which always worked well. I have a roll of TMAX P3200 in the refrigerator and will try that next time.

				Happy birthday Peter!
Just more flowers from me. The first one was shot with the K1000 on 2010 Fujicolor 100 (@50). Dev'd in DIY C-41. The second was shot with the Nikkormat FTn on 1973 Recordak Dacomatic (@25) dev'd in parodinal. Same flowers, different day.

Some lovely photos on here this weekend. Love Peter's self portrait and photo of Indofunk. It's of particular interest as I've recently invested in a couple of Rolleinars and I'm looking for an opportunity to use them.  Sandeha's pinhole is also superb.

Mine is from the trip we made along R66 some years ago.  It's a detail from the Cadillac Ranch taken on Fuji Velvia 100f early one morning on my Nikon F3HP / 35mm f2 (I think).

Next week I'm off up the Northumberland coast for a bit of RnR.  I have a Zero 2000 6x6 pinhole camera that's been sat in a drawer, untouched for years.  All things being well, it'll be put to use for the first time.

Happy Birthday Peter!  Nice colors in that first one James.  Since spring is finally here I'll add to the flowers.  Photographed with a Polaroid Automatic 250 Land Camera using a Kali-Copier attachment.  Fujifilm FP-100C Pack film.

A very happy birthday Peter and your self portrait is a great way to celebrate it.
Love the look of the cinestill shots -it's a pity its not in 4x5
I've gone with Provia 100f in 4x5. I was messing around with movements and didn't quite get it for the first shot but did a bit better in the second.

				Happy Birthday Peter :)

				Indeed. Happy Birthday, Peter  ;)

-
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! Turning 39 never gets old.

I feel something like awe when I look at Peter’s two portraits. Those and other photos in this excellent thread—Bryan’s and Irv’s—put me in a color frame of mind. I spent the day roaming around San Juan, exposing two rolls of Portra. I’ll post one or two of the results when the lab is finished with the processing.

Happy birthday! Those are great portraits!

Here's one taken at my wife's work right after I visited her for lunch. Luckily I had my pinhole camera with me.

Ha! She works at an art museum. There's a big Richard Serra sculpture outside; (https://news.stanford.edu/pr/2011/pr-cantor-serra-sequence-072611.html) I took this photo from inside the sculpture.
