to get the weekend started...
Santa Barbara 4 x 5 pinhole.
This is the view right outside my back door as a first test shot.
The second one is from the Pecos River Wilderness, which is about a two hour drive north from my door.
Both are Delta 100 sheet film dunked in caffenol.

Great start, Becky. I love the second shot.
I've got shots from two different occasions. The color ones I shot with my Zenza Bronica SQ-A on Ektar 100 in the Harz Mountains National Park, the b/w photo I shot with my Olympus OM-1 on Fomapan 100 (devel. in Caffenol-C-H (RS)).

These are from my first roll of the new Ektachrome 100. Shot with a Minolta srT201.

Haha, yes, indeed. :) I loved the Fraggles as a kid. :)

Fantastic shots. I particularly like the maple leafs. The compositions as well as the exposure and the mood are brilliant. On top of that, the Ektarchrome's colours are fabulous.

Love those pinholes, Becky!
And Bryan, I have to get some of this Ektachrome now. I blame you for this! :)

Hey! Are these the first official FW shots on "new Ektachrome"? Glad to see that it actually exists! ;D And the shots look fantastic!! Can't wait to get my hands on some for xpro, though they look so good E6.....

Nice backyard, Becky. (I can't get too enthusiastic about the white stuff in November, though.)
Following CS1's beautiful "untitled", I offer some common details: cocklebur, reed, Queen Anne’s Lace, and milkweed; all taken on a walk at the Bristol, Rhode Island Audubon Sanctuary.

Nice to see the new Ektachromes Bryan, I shot a roll last week but the conditions weren't as good, still looking forward to seeing what I get though.
Meanwhile in C41 development I just did a roll I shot way back in May. Cheap Fujicolor 200 in a Bessa L with 15mm super wide Heliar, shot on a misty day in Broadstairs. Find the mist and lack of people gives a certain melancholy.

Manuel, you've become quite proficient with your self-made camera. I like the Velvia's tone for this autumn shot
William, the Asclepias shot is fantastic. The sharpness is incredible (the Portra is really nice for such a detailed shot) and your aperture selection is really good. I like the amount of stuff that's going on in the shot. It took be a while to notice the little bugs in the top of the blossom.
I also like the "Nice Boats", Antony. I agree with what you said about the melancholy conveyed in the shots. We're going to visit the Peak District next year (again), however, it looks like we should spend some time on the coast as well.
Kai, is that some sort of chimney in the first shot?

Hi CS1, it's an old decommissioned mains transformer station, this is what it looks like.
-
Ah, interesting. I thought that putting a cloud on top of it was a really cool idea because it made a great composition.

HEY FW's
I'm still alive. No scanner for film scans or print scans so you guys are getting a digi shot this weekend from me. ;)

Wow! That color ektachrome is just so rich...I hope to see more of it, and I may need to place an order for some for next spring when color returns to the desert out here.

Oh yeah... I now see the gulls...
And I thought they were chunks of ice on my small tablet ::)
Silly me ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nice shots everyone!
Manuel, that image is just lovely. I bet holding a 6x12 positive is a real treat! Have you shared your camera here? I don't recall seeing it but will look around.

I always wanted to look up the English name of the plant. I managed to do so today. :) It's called "rosebay willowherb" in the UK and "fireweed" in the US. After the summer the blossoms disappear and look like you can see on the photo. It's a pretty sight (both when in bloom and in autumn).
