Starting out with some colour this week.
Nikon F3 / Nikkor 85mm f2.0 / Kodak Portra 400

I love those colors on the first one! I really like Ektar 100, however, the Portra line is really growing on me.
These two were shot on the same roll of Ektar. Different lighting conditions (first one was a sunny day, second very overcast and was raining hard). Exposed at 64 ASA, developed normally. Medium format. I should probably re-scan the negatives as they were very curly and not flat at all. I can tell they are not nearly as sharp as they should be.

I always like Ektar in bright sunlight.
This is an old brewery developed in beer. Zenza Bronica ETRSi using a PE 50mm f/2.8 lens. The film is Expired Kodak Panatomic-X.

Always find with Ektar in bright sunlight the reds leap out, grab you by the lapels and scream 'HOW MORE RED COULD I BE? NONE MORE RED!!!" right in your face.
But on a more gloomy day you get a different more subdued look.
Just been shooting some myself but won't be mixing new colour chems until I've got at least half a dozen rolls lined up ready to go.

Agreed. I like punchy colors, so I don't mind, however, every once in a while I prefer the subdued, pastel tones of Portra.
I'm pretty sure my developing technique has something to do, as I am not careful with things such as temperature and whatnot.

Great shots everyone. I really like the portrait of your friend, Miguel, her smile is very natural and the photos looks like it's spontaneous. Love the pinholes, Manuel.
Since it seems to be a colourful weekend I'll chip in with two colour photos. The dawn photo was shot on Ektar 100, the young tree on Portra 160. Both were shot with a Zenza Bronica SQ-A.

I've found that E-6 transparency film tends to be re-intensive as well. In my mo-pix days, we'd sometimes have to project Ektachrome original footage rather than workprint. The reds would appear to be sitting off the screen by 10 to 12 inches.
Provia seems to punch up the reds as well, even on a somewhat gloomy day. A shot from the archive, Pentax MX and probably 100/2.8.

Two from a recent roll shot locally(ish), partly to test a batch of Parodinal I made -- both of these on Delta 100, developed in Parodinal 1+50. Taken using Pentax MZ-5n, which I've got back into using recently since my trusty ME Super started playing up (iffy film transport). Hoping they show up OK as they're my first hereā¦

Great start, Jonathan. I like the obvious "zebra theme". I used to have a Pentax MZ-10 many years ago which was probably made around the same time as the MZ-5n (I could be mistaken).
