I have a Tair-33 lens that I want to use on my Pentacon 6TL but I am unable to identify the mount I assumed it was a Keiv-88 thread as other Tair-33 lenses I have seen have this but its not because I got an adapter for it and its nothing like it, mine has a 65mm wide screw mount thread,so if I can identify the mount I might be able to get an adapter. can any one help

From memory, some of the Kiev 88 were modified by who was it... it might have been Hartblei to use a different mount...
Isn't the Pentacon compatible with the Kiev 66 camera?
I believe that the Kiev 88 has a different mount than the Kiev 66... this is really far in my brain.

Yes you are correct the Pentacon 6 TL and the Kiev 66 have the same mount I have both cameras but the mount on this Tair-33 has got me stumped its like a overgrown M42 mount

Check the dimensions of the 'T-mount' system. T-mount adaptors exist for many different lens/body brands. I have one on my Prinzflex 500/8 and it may be about the same size.
Edit - the T-mount is not much bigger than any other 35mm mount. Maybe the adaptor is still sitting on the camera body as Kai-san suggests!

Looking at pictures of this lens it is apparent that the bayonet mount is missing from your lens, it should have been longer than yours is. Maybe it's still sitting on the camera of the person who sold you this?
By the way, welcome to filmwasters, Scouter! :)

I think I have to agree with you Kai-san, I had the lens given to me so no loss but I would like to get it usable. I have contacted Hartblei the people I bought the adapter from for advice, I probably got the right adapter if the lens had the correct bayonet end on it.
