It's been some time since I posted anything for the FW's to critique,
so let me know what you think.
Cant' decide to crop or not, or just toss in the trash.
It 's a scanned Polaroid goopy paper piece- the part that usually gets tossed except I save them and scan them later.
(for art's sake you know) ;)
This is Orion rising through the trees with a few airplane trails in the background.

I think it's lovely so why not just send it to me rather than the trash (see print exchange... ;)

It's not saying anything to me. And cropping doesn't really change it. If it were mine, I'd let it go.

As a stand alone I don't think it's going to win awards, but it's moody and atmospheric and could be stronger as part of a series of shots that join earthly shapes with the astral.
I do like the way the polaroid artifacts themselves appear like pinpoint stars- it adds something for sure.

hi, i never really feel that comfortable offering a critique -as im not really what you would class as "much cop" at this photography - so feel free to take what i say then cut it into convienient sized peices and hang it in the loo for use there.
personally i think its too busy, i kind of like it sure, but think that maybe if it was a pictre on its own without your explanation i might be a bit lost. I think this one also falls down as i can compare it to your other output -which is a lot stronger.
my opinion only! once ive made my first million in this medium i expect you sit up and take note of what i just said, until then....please ignore!

I love it!
And I agree about cropping it. (I would make it square, cutting out the right side).

I tend to echo Damion on this one...
I think the tree is too present... or the stars are not numerous enough...

it's interesting in that when i glanced at it the first couple of times, i just kind of saw a messy tree with some lines behind it. but after a few viewings, i really start to see the tree and the dark outlines and radiant lighting present within. it's not a fantastic shot, but it has it's merits. i think the componants are greater than the whole.
