Tonight I put my first EFKE 25KB 35mm into the tank for dev tomorrow evening - just one mishap ... :-[
With the lights on I somehow managed to flick off one of the end caps (they seem to be very loose) - immediately switched off the lights and dumped it into the tank, then loaded as normal, in the dark of course.
Just hoping it didn't fog too much ... spent a lot of time with this film, using tripod and yellow filter. It's a very slow film so hopefully only damage on the edges.
Upside, I am now starting a collection of free empty film canisters so might even roll my own soon. :)

the innermost part of the film should be mostly okay. it really depends on how long this was and how much light there was.
and hey, it might even look kind of cool :)

Relief!
Developed film today in Ilosol 3 1+14 for 6 minutes. The developer came out a brilliant purple colour (nail varnish like). Clear filmbase. No sign of fogging whatsoever - a lucky escape!
The negatives look great, hopefully I can get some decent scans done - work in progress for the weekend.

Now that is good news. Lucky it wasn't a roll of Delta3200 that you planned on pushing to 6400 or higher :)

It's efke 25, you probably could have left it with the top cap off for a minute or two and nothing would happen ;D ;)

oh great! I've mostly got experience from the same happening but with rollei films. the light piping is real!
