I just got back from a week in Baracoa, Cuba, a town in a coastal rain forest on the eastern tip of the island. Incredibly beautiful place with a magical realism vibe. Shot these with Cinestill 50 (rated at 200) and my Rollei 35S.

Such a fine series. The drivers pic is priceless.

Really excellent set. If I had to choose a couple I'd print and hang, they'd be the 2nd and 5th......

The composition of the wooden dock shot is great, and I really like the car interior shot as well.

Love them all - #1 and #6 are my favorites ! Great use of CineStill 50.

I really like this film. Something particular about it is the dynamic range where you get shadow detail and highlight detail in the same image. I think this particular film noticeably extends the usual range. You can most easily see it in #3. The detail of the guy in the window, the graduation in shadow around him and around the eggs in the open door, is unusual.
BTW, I was shooting it at 200, 2 stops "underexposed" from box. I ran a test roll before the trip and stuff was overexposed at box, though it has latitude so I was able to mostly bring everything back in post. But using the range focus Rollei, slow film speed / wider aperture presents a focusing challenge. So I was happy to find I can shoot it at 200.

I have to agree with Reinhold. That one is also my favourite!
