Lovely shots. Andrej, your lith work is always captivating as is Peter's pinhole. Frank, welcome to the forum. It's nice to see your work here. I like the splashes of color on what looks to be an otherwise dreary day.

What I have put together about this film is that Satish's great uncle Kumar had bought it in Mumbai in 1962, but it slipped in back of the spare tire on the way home and was forgotten for the better part of a decade. The car was eventually bought by a well-traveled Bedouin who drove it to Riyadh where he got a flat tire. He found the film, but being a Bedouin, only had a Brownie that took 127 film. So he traded it for a tire iron. At this point the story gets a bit fuzzy and the film seems to trade hands a number of times before being put in an ammo can and left in the village square of Sbaa Algeria where it stayed for about 14 years before being blown in a particularly strong sand storm all the way to Tangier. A Portugese merchant found it and shipped it with a cargo container full of fine leather shoes to an importer named Hoss in Texas, USA. Hoss didn't know anything about film, so he put it out in the barn, where coincidentally Phil Bebbington took a photo of it at one point. It stayed there until Hoss's grand-daughter was rummaging around looking for horse shoe nails and found it. She put it on a big auction site where Satish was unwittingly reunited with his great uncle Kumar's film. He traded some of it to me and I took these photos.

Nice to see the fine show starting, wanna highlight Bryans polax or instapol?
Now here are 2 from the Oly XA on Kodak Gold, deved in homebrewed C-41 2-bath, I like the cross developed look with color shift and pronounced grain.

I'm really impressed!
The weekend hasn't even started and some of you already had time to shoot, develop, print and scan.
That is very fast work!
My weekend only starts tomorrow with a visit to Broadway, that is the market in East London.
Then it will be Notting Hill Carnival over the bank holiday.
I have just rolled 6 rolls of Fomapan 100 and 6 rolls of Fomapan 400.
Have a nice weekend.
Don't get too exhausted! ;)
-
Ricardo, the weekend thread is really just a showcase of what people have shot "recently". The loose rule is to post a photo that you shot or processed in the previous week, but it isn't written in stone or anything. The point is to motivate people to shoot, process, scan or print each week. Most of us don't really need motivation (that's why we're here), but the thread provides a place where we can come each week and see a very diverse collection of shots from people whose work is consistently good (my shots of grainy flowers notwithstanding).
So just post something recent and don't sweat the timeline. We are relaxed around here. Heck even the people in New York have fun here! :)

Ah, that explains a lot.
I shoot something like 6-10 35mm rools per weekend and there are weeks that only on the following 2 weeks I can get them processed.
Here is one recent.

@KevinAllan : Love your photographs from Paris - espacially the second one !

What a great weekend this turned out to be, so many great contributions, so many images I wouldn't hasitate hanging up the wall of my living
@Macfred those grandma bikes (opoe fiets in Dutch) in the red laundry is so typically Dutch. Haven't seen them in any other country
This week I was scanning some neg's from a time I wasn't doing my own C41 and not having a good scanner that can do 120 film and I found some shot's from a trip to Florence about 6 years ago taken with a Holga on Portra 400. Probably one of the most photographed things there but the funny thing with this shot is that it almost looks like it has some tilt and shift action going on

Here's one from a different roll Kentmere 100 on the same day at the Santa Monica pier. I developed using a different developer, Ilford DDX 1+4. I'm not sure how economical its going to be since you're using 100ml of developer to 400ml of water.

Last night I shot almost 90 instant portraits for the local music festival, God Save The Queen City. Right after setting up I had to clear a few remaining FP-3000B shots from my Land Camera because the festival portraits were going to be shot on FP-100C.
This is my friend and fellow photographer Yash who assisted me all night. I couldn't have done it without him.

Something something bank holiday in England, so I can post? :o :D
Peter & I saw Wim Windish's Alice in the city last week, a 1973 film which features a reporter who shoots on a Polaroid SX70. That inspired me to dig the old beast out and shoot through a pack of IP film. Here's one from a block party in Brooklyn that Peter & I went to this weekend (I do hang out with people other than Peter, really)

edit green tint on the white border is due to the fact that the picture itself was severely magenta-tinted, so I had to adjust it accordingly. I fault my scanner and the fact that IP can't get the damn formula right :P Bring back the illegal poisonous chemicals, says I!! :D

Ha! François, I only work 3 days a week so this bank holiday gave me a 5 day weekend - I'm not sure that my hard working wife saw the funny side of it, but, I rather enjoyed it!

You know, it's not your fault that those holidays always fall on the days you're working ;)
