I would like to share some photographs, I took on a recent trip to Monschau.
Monschau is a small resort town in the Eifel region of western Germany,
located in the district Aachen, North Rhine-Wetphalia.
The first mention of Monschau was made in 1198.
The town is located in the hills of the North Eifel, within the Hohes Venn-Eifel Nature Park
in the narrow valley of the Rur river. Historically, the main industry of the town was cloth-mills.

Lovely photos. It doesn't look real (in a good way) as it has seemingly been so well preserved.

Wonderful shots Andreas!
I am hoping to take a day trip to the Eiffel region one weekend this year. Maybe take some photos of the Effelsberg radio telescope. Monschau also looks well worth a visit.

Great shots, I really like the way you caught the light in the very first shot, -the background hillside and side of the building cast in shadow really makes the subject unmistakable. Perfect time of day for that angle!

Thank you again - I really appreciate that !
