6 pinholes from the ONDU 6x6 from WPPD. Jomfruland is a very interesting island in the outer Oslofjord archipelago. It is part of one of the larger moraines of the last ice age, and consists largely of gravel and rounded stones (see first picture). Very particular birdlife, and a very old oak forest.

Fascinating! I will be in Oslo in a couple of weeks and it kills me that I will have no time to gallivant about the area and see awesome sights like these! :(

Pity Satish, Oslo is nice in it's own provincial way, but is one of the least interesting places to be (fireproof suit on). Norway is so much more.

Beautiful shots, Eirik! But don't get me started on the moraines and gravel. 50% of the ground in our garden seems to be made up of these stones. Precisely because the glaciers left all the gravel after the ice age where we live.
