No news from Philly this week. We were expecting a horrific winter storm to level the city and return us to hunting and gathering, but as you can see at least one structure remains. This was the art museum on Tuesday morning before dawn.
Have a great weekend!

After abandoning photography for a years I gave up and admitted that I just can't live without camera :)
Photo from a first roll after a long break (literally years!). Kodak gold 400, scanned at random lab (Fuji Frontier).

Great start to the weekend....
One from a museum in Rabat (Mdina) Malta. We dived in this place to avoid a huge thunderstorm on the final full day of our holiday last October. The museum was dark with a few relatively low strength lights on certain exhibits. This is an almost complete Roman figure found in the grounds. The second shot was as the storm cleared. Still very dark - though I've brightened the sky a bit.
Rolleiflex 2.8e, hand-held, wide open. Ilford Delta 400

Some shots from my friends property 3 hours up a dirt road, on a mountain called spy rock here in Humboldt.
used some expired vericolorII with the RZ67. the expiration date on the box was 1980. this roll was unfortunate enough to fall on my bathroom floor when i was hanging to dry, but its the only roll it has happened to.
Have a killer weekend everyone! I hope i can finished this roll of Xp2 in the yashica, & develop tonight.
hookstrapped- wow, those 21mm photos are amazing, i'm in love with the second one with her at the table.

Beautiful portrait Antonio!
And huevos' trees make me want to want to find some 35 year old film.
-
I drop film in my bathtub all the time when hanging it to dry. As long as I wet my fingers and resqueegie it I've never had a problem. Luckily, I've never had a roll of film slip off the clothespin WHILE it was drying, because I probably wouldn't notice that until I went back in after the drying time, by which time there would be plenty of bends, uneven drying, spots, and whatnot.
-
Taken this morning. Mamiya C220, Ektar 100.

Very enjoyable pics this week, the portrait by Antonio is wonderful.

There are a few shots that I like but have a green cast to them, and they also seem to get quite digital noisy when I try to edit them, so I might rescan. Grrr.
And it seems the curtains have pinholes, so a few of the shots came out with some "fairy lights"

Fairy lights! :D

Three shots from me, taken over 25 years ago with the Nikon FE I sold to Late Developer and which I am about to get back in return for an A12 back. No idea where these were taken (other than somewhere on the east cost of England).

A lot of fine pics again, especially the people shots.
Nothing new this week by me, so here are two from 1990 in Norway, and one from Gozo, the little sister of Malta, all taken with a humble p+s on CN film.

Like the bottom one, first time ive seen a shot of 2 "normal" Nova's for ages :)

Late to the weekend thread - I had film to develop, scan, and process, and I wanted to see what came out that I might post here. There were a few other candidates, but I decided on this one. Rollei 35, Tri-X in Caffenol C-H(RS):

Always a treat to scroll through the weekend thread.
Calbisu's 1st is a real treasure, and I love the alignment of all the elements in O2 pilot's shot.
A couple of night shots from me. Not new. Actually shot a couple of years back, but I've just framed up prints of these two for a small local gallery, so thought I'd bring them here for you.
Top is the remains of Reculver church on Tmax100. The splash of light across the middle was when someone turned on their car headlights in the car park, out of shot to the right. Fortuitous, as without it there would have been just too much black emptiness.
Bottom is Hampton sailing club on FP4+. Some short star trails just visible.
These represent my first, and so far only, real attempt at night photography, something I think I should make an effort to rectify.
-
Back from a fun weekend in the snow - well the drive back was not fun. To tired to look and comment on the no doubt awesome pics! I will do that tomorrow, just need to post something while it is still Sunday ;-)

I heard rumors that AT&T is going to turn them into WiFi hotspots, but personally I doubt that. If they do, though, then I'll definitely have to come through on my threat to set up password sniffers nearby, because you know somebody is going to be dumb enough to log into their bank account on a public WiFI connection. I'm not a criminal, I'm just trying to teach people a valuable lesson :)

People do all kinds of stupid things on public wifi.

That gives me hope. Sweden, being a much more progressive country than the US, not being able to go through with WiFi hotspots means that there's no way that even the most progressive and socialist city in the US (of course I'm talking about NYC here) will do it :)

Wow! Great to see a wide range of stuff usual. Really strong too. I've been scanning some old stuff these last few weeks, with a view to getting back into my Polaroid shooting after not having access to a reliable film supply for ages. Type-665 was more than 5000 yen a pack when I stopped buying it, but a good friend was able to source 40-odd packs for me of totally reliable 665. Here's some old 125i though:

A few from Balboa Park taken on Super Bowl Sunday. Went on a stroll with my Leica M6 and Kodak gold after browsing a few books on Garry Winogrand.

rpx100 seems to get along well with caffenol, huh?
Nearly fog free, fantastic contrast range - I can recommend it! :)
And finally the RPX400 now has again the great quality as the very first batch that was said it will never be produced that way again. We did a lot of rant about this here and it seems that it did help.
Fine Caffenol lesson, Bo! How much pot. bromide? 0.5 g/l?

A fellow San Diegan! Nice shots. Balboa Park presents endless potential for street, landscape, architecture, still life, etc.
