I decided to use a pack of instant film for the One Subject, One Roll challenge. The subject is my Ibanez Talman guitar. These are Polaroid macro shots done with a Polaroid 210 Land Camera attached to a Kali-Copier on Fujifilm FP-100C. I promised myself before shooting that I wouldn't re-do any particular shot once I peeled and saw what had developed, that I would make each shot a different angle. These four were the best of the pack of 10 shots.

Thumbs up ! Nice study.
-
Nice!! I like how the light treated the pickguard very differently than the tuners (the red background helped as well ;) )
-
Very nice!
I just wish I could hear it!!!

Those are great Adam, now I want a Kali-Copier.

Those are great Adam, now I want a Kali-Copier.
Bryan, they are pretty cheap on eBay. Usually under 10 dollars. And they are a lot of fun for getting in close. They were made for copying Polaroid prints by taking a Polaroid of the original Polaroid, but as long as you can deal with the paper thin depth of field you can get some cool results with it.

Great shots Adam! Love the 2nd one with the red background.

Very nice. I especially like the fretboard detail on the first shot. Thanks for sharing.

A friend of mine used to have an Ibanez Les Paul look-alike in cream with a darker mother of pearl scratchplate. Lovely guitar you have there. I might have to dig out my Fender Strat and see if I can get a few interesting shots out of it.
I might even learn how to play it one day..... :o

Fantastic shots! And I'll be looking for a Kali Copier now, too :)
