Mainstream article on audiophile microphone-magnate has apparently reached his funding goal to remanufacture the b/w instant film.
I love where this boutique film movement is going.

Not quite there yet but they have had a surge in the final days. As of this posting they are at 84%.

I have been following this steadily since the launched and was quite discouraged when they were only adding very small amounts of $ funding in the early days. Then with 5 days to go people came to the realization that if they don't jump now it will never happen. I continued to do the mental calculations of what they needed to add daily and was still skeptical. Well today I became a believer and committed to my box of film. I think it is going to happen they are getting really close. So if you shoot 4x5 now is the timeā¦..

I too was sceptical in the early stages as well. I also jumped in as a backer. I think what really pushed me was Cory's (landcameras.com) post, that basically states that by funding this we send a message to other companies that we want film to stay. We all moaned when FP-300B was discontinued, and now we have a chance to (not just talk about) bring back another instant film.
