When I was down in the city a few months ago, I had my little Voigtländer Vito with me, loaded with Kodak Gold 200. Unfortunately, it decided to start acting up; specifically, the frames started to overlap. The transport gearing is a bit fragile, and the camera uses a feeler spindle instead of a sprocket wheel, so it is prone to this sort of thing. Nevertheless, I managed to salvage some shots by rather vigorous cropping. The uncoated Skopar on the Vito produces some really interesting colors with this film, and it had rained earlier that day, which made the colors even more pronounced. Overall, it produced a rather different look to the B&W I usually shoot down there.

Good stuff! Makes me miss NYC (I moved from there nearly 2 years ago). Endless photo possibilities, love the choice to go color.

Your rooftop grafitti photo is a unique angle. cool.

Thanks guys. I've shot a fair bit of B&W in NYC over the years, so trying some color seemed like a good way to see things a little differently. Just wish the camera had behaved a little better.

Yes, nice results with the uncoated lens, my fav is the fourth one from the top ;)
